TrailStar Omega
Our thickest and most protective sandal, TrailStar Omegas are designed to give you the most protection for the toughest trails. The thicker sole of the Omegas bridges the gap and creates consistency with every step. These adventure sandals excel under heavy load and are perfect for backpacking and rigorous terrain. When absolute control and stability is required, the TrailStar Omegas are always up to the task.
Sole
TrailStar Omega soles are made from a composition of 8mm Vibram® Newflex and 6mm Vibram Morflex. Omega is our thickest and most protective sole. This creates a sole that provides excellent protection for your feet while still being light and responsive. The aggressive tread of the Vibram Newflex makes navigating rough terrain and trails a breeze while the Vibram Morflex gives you a firm yet cushioned place for your feet to rest. Choose between UltraGrip or Cognac Aniline Cowhide Leather footbed for a 15mm total stack height.
TrailStar Lacing System
Increased security from over-the-foot style lacing is the hallmark of TrailStars. The TrailStar Lacing system features a specially made forefoot strap made from Toray® Ultrasuede and a nylon mesh. The result is an extremely comfortable material with the strength properties of webbing. The forefoot strap is completely adjustable and anchored through the bottom of the sole. Final adjustments are made through a tension lock on the outer heel post. All forefoot straps are cut to fit after adjustment. The heel section of the lacing system employs two heel posts covered in Ultrasuede for comfort. Heel strap adjustments are locked into place using Velcro®. The result is an extremely comfortable and secure lacing system that is ready for adventure!
Recraftable
Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced with a pair of pliers at home. Why throw away what you can repair? Visit our Parts Page to learn more!

In the past I’ve never treated myself to getting really good sandals. This time around I finally did some research and came across these sandals, and I’m so glad I did. I love their design, so cool looking for casual-wear but also you can dress them up so I didn’t need to bring two pairs of sandals! Personally I hardly had to break them in, I had no pain from the very beginning which was awesome. I also love how customizable they are so you can get your perfect fit. I brought them on vacation with me which required mild hiking and they were so comfortable and stable. I felt pretty invincible in these shoes. Overall I LOVE these shoes, I have a feeling these will forever be my go-to sandal. I highly suggest them to all my family and friends. I will buy more in the future that’s for sure!

Have just received my TrailStars & worn them for the first time, they are very comfortable & easy to wear. I normally have a lot of pain in my feet & look forward removing my footwear by end of day but these sandals fit like a glove & I barely knew I had them on. I think they will be my favourite footwear for summer. Thank you Daniel! Delivery was very slow but they arrived into Australia early December & were almost three weeks getting to me in Tasmania. That was no fault of Shamma Sandals, probably just the time of year.
