    Awesome

I've worn them near daily since they came in the mail. The leather version is super comfortable and they feel great. Adjustment is easy as well.

    Chargers

It took a bit of a learning curve to figure out how I liked the straps but these are by far my favorite sandals now! So comfortable and have just enough cushion without losing that ground feel. Perfect “everything” sandal!

    Kids Chargers: Heel post issues

Customer service was great but the actual sandal itself was a big disappointment. My kiddo has wide feet and we know adult shammas are known for being great for the extra wide feet. I’m not sure what happened when they designed the kids version but they were not scaled correctly at all. He is normally a kids size 1, depending on the shoe. We printed the templates and went with a shamma 4, which I was worried would be to big. When we got the shoe, the length was pretty spot on but the posts in the back were the biggest issue. There was only 3cm space between the heel posts. It was almost laughable how tiny the space was inbetween the posts. The posts themselves are very stiff, so when trying them on it was immediately very uncomfortable because they push right at the bottom of his arch and he was walking on top of them. Then the straps were WAY to short. We couldn’t even velcro them to try and make them work. I reached out to shamma and they did say they could exchange the shoes for ones with longer straps, but that the posts were supposed to be that close together and wearing them would fold them down, over time. That wasn’t going to happen. They are so stiff it was very uncomfortable just trying them on. I really hope shamma reconsiders their design for the kids chargers. We really wanted them to work. When I posted about it in the barefoot groups I am in, it seems like many people have had the same issue with them. I know they have the Cruisers that would eliminate the post issue, but I had those last summer. The straps would loosen throughout the day and I would constantly be having to tighten them, not ideal for a kid. Shamma was great throughout the whole experience and I will likely try other styles for myself in the future. But unless they redesign the kids chargers, I will not be recommending them or purchasing again. I wouldn’t even recommend them for narrow feet. The width between the sandal was enough room for a baby’s foot. Not good. Shamma customer service gets five starts but the shoe itself is a 1 star. Please redesign your kids chargers!

I have never experienced something like this

I would highly recommend these sandals. I’ve never experienced anything like them. My foot strength and lower back strength has greatly improved.

    Best sandals ever

Shamma sandals are the perfect footwear. Plenty of options to fit you needs and the lacing system works great. All the pairs I’ve had lasted far longer than I anticipated, very high quality craftsmanship and materials.
