Numa Warriors
Numa Warriors get you the closest you can to feeling barefoot in a sandal. A lightweight sandal that moves effortlessly with your foot, the Numa Warriors create the ultimate barefoot experience. You’ll be at home on your favorite local trail or the most epic national park. Numa Warriors are barefoot bliss.
Sole
Warriors use a 5mm Vibram® Newflex sole coupled with your choice of our UltraGrip or Tobacco Brown Goatskin Leather footbed for a 6mm total stack height. Vibram® Newflex is a blend of rubber and EVA that forms a durable soling material with an aggressive tread for superior traction on the trail. The tread accounts for approximately 2.5 millimeters of the sole thickness making it very flexible. The aggressive tread allows for excellent traction and enjoyment of the sandals at any speed. Pair with the UltraGrip footbed for use in the harshest elements, or select the Goatskin Leather for more comfort in drier conditions.
Numa Lacing System
Numa uses a handsfree slip-on lacing system that stretches with your feet as they move. The result is our most comfortable, seamless, and easy-to-use lacing system yet. The secret is our custom ¾” elastic forefoot section. This innovation gives the lacing system the ability to stretch where you need it most: over the arch and middle of the foot, creating a seamless connection between your foot and the sandal. Added benefits of this system include a self-adjusting toe plug buckle and forefoot strap that is custom-cut. This allows all our Numa Sandals to rival flip-flops in terms of comfort without sacrificing convenience. This system uses our innovative and flexible heel posts to keep the heel strap in an optimal position, and these laces are made using Ultrasuede for the highest level of comfort available. Recraftable
Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced with a pair of pliers at home. Why throw away what you can repair? Visit our Parts Page to learn more!

United StatesMost Excellent Sandal: Numa
I’ve tried several other brands, ranging from somewhere from good to not good experiences. Issues for me included sole irritation from synthetic footbed, and problems with no-stretch straps that were either too tight or not tight enough, never “right”. I went for the NUMA to address this. To date only worn inside (Colorado winter), the leather footbed is wonderful, no irritation, feels super. The stretchy flat elastic straps were perfect out of the box, not needing adjustment yet, they feel comfortably attached to my feet. Finally, construction and finish were top rate, could not be better. My short term opinion is that they’re wonderful and I’m super pleased.
AustraliaGreat design, too loose on low volume feet
Great design on the elastic laces, but with low volume feet I had to do them up tightly which became uncomfortable. Perhaps cotton over the elastic would be good, whether that's an option. I got the charger soles which I didn't like as they don't have the grip I needed, I know Shamma has come out with a Numa Maximus which I think would be better as the soles are more rugged and with better grip.

they are now my go to sandals - somehow the elastic on the top keeps them on my feet very comfortably. the ultra grip footbed is also very cool.
