TrailStar Lacing System

Had these for a week or so, excellent sandal. I noticed the leather bed is starting to fray and lift up on the edges, so that's not great, but overall a super comfortable sandal. The strap system is quite soft, but strong. I'm planning to use these as my summer hikers. Wouldn't recommend for a beach sandal.

Currently I have two pairs of TrailStar Maximus (9mm) sandals, and I have just ordered the TrailStar Ibex for more serious hiking adventures.
I have both the leather and the ultra-grip soles and both are extremely comfortable.
All of them are so damn comfortable that I don't take them off once I put them on until I go to bed. I even wear them while I'm lounging about watching TV.
When I wore them on a walk while it was raining I splashed through a ton of puddles. All the while my sandals never lost their mojo! A fellow walker noticed my sandals and said that I looked like an ancient Roman soldier. Hilarious! I think that was a compliment?
Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a couple of pairs. You won't be disappointed!

Great sandals, fell sturdy and well made.
I wear size 10 in other brands, but according to size guide I choose 10.5 and I glad I did. The straps feel very soft and confortable. These will be my summer sandals this year.

Okay, I was a little skeptic about wearing sandals with somethink around the big toe but these are incredible. The leather is much softer than I was expecting and well they look smart and they are stable and snug with the strap system which is important for me. My feet aren't that wide so I got a bit shaved off at a cobblers and they look amazing now. The Goat model sandals are also way too wide for my feet but a flexible sole is important. I tried other sandals without a toe plug or anything between the toes, but on hills...other sandals just slide forward . With the Trailstars I will be able to hike . I have not been able to wear them outside yet, must wait for summer....still, I practically wear them all day up and down stairs inside. I feel like buying multiple pairs but woah nelly....can't afford that!. Still perhaps next year. Thank you Shammas for your amazing sandals...Would love to visit your workshop one of these days.
