UltraGrip Sandals

UltraGrip Sandals

Ultragrip sandals are waterproof and can handle mild soap. They should not be stored in extreme heat, cold, or steam, put in hot water, or left out in direct sunlight

  • To clean the sole, start by scrubbing the bottom tread of the sandal with a toothbrush. Use glass cleaner and wipe with a dry rag, or mild soap and water and wipe dry.
  • To clean the laces, start by dusting them off with a rag or toothbrush. If needed, scrub with soap and rinse with water.
  • Make sure sandals are completely dry before storage, and keep them out of direct heat, sunlight, or steam.
Leather Sandals

Leather Sandals

While leather sandals can withstand water exposure, for best wear, keep dry, and clean with a leather cleaner and conditioner. They should not be stored in extreme heat, cold, or steam, or left out in direct sunlight.

  • To clean the sole, start by scrubbing the bottom tread of the sandal with a toothbrush. If needed, use glass cleaner and wipe with a dry rag.
  • To clean the leather footbed, start by dusting them off with a dry rag. If needed, wipe with a damp rag and wipe dry. For a thorough clean, use a leather cleaner and conditioner.
  • For leather laces, such as those on our Supers or Pacific Avenues, follow the steps above.
  • For ultrasuede laces, used on all of our Elite, Numa, and Trailstar sandals, follow steps in our ultragrip section. Ultrasuede is a synthetic material and does not require leather cleaner or conditioner.
  • Make sure sandals are completely dry before storage, and keep them out of direct heat, sunlight, or steam.
