Numa Chargers
Numa Chargers are designed to give you the ultimate barefoot experience on the toughest city streets. Numa Chargers are simple to use, a breeze to put on and they seamlessly connect you to a sole that is perfectly tuned for life in the city. You’ll never look at concrete and asphalt the same way again.
Sole
Chargers use a 6mm Vibram® Morflex sole coupled with your choice of our UltraGrip or Tobacco Brown Goatskin Leather footbed. Chargers have a 7mm total stack height. A blend of rubber and EVA, the Morflex compound is known for being lightweight, with a firm but cushioned feel underfoot. Morflex is also known for a quick break-in time. While not as thin as the Warriors, Chargers are a better choice for people who want to go very thin but would like a small amount of cushioning. Pair with the UltraGrip footbed for use in the harshest elements, or select the Goatskin Leather for more comfort in drier conditions.
Numa Lacing System
Numa uses a handsfree slip-on lacing system that stretches with your feet as they move. The result is our most comfortable, seamless, and easy-to-use lacing system yet. The secret is our custom ¾” elastic forefoot section. This innovation gives the lacing system the ability to stretch where you need it most: over the arch and middle of the foot, creating a seamless connection between your foot and the sandal. Added benefits of this system include a self-adjusting toe plug buckle and forefoot strap that is custom-cut. This allows all our Numa Sandals to rival flip-flops in terms of comfort without sacrificing convenience. This system uses our innovative and flexible heel posts to keep the heel strap in an optimal position, and these laces are made using Ultrasuede for the highest level of comfort available. Recraftable
Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced with a pair of pliers at home. Why throw away what you can repair? Visit our Parts Page to learn more!

First pair or barefoot sandals
I love these! I can’t compare to other sandals but these are very comfortable and I can wear them with my CorrectToes. I wear them a little loose so I can slip them in and off with no hands and have no discomfort with the laces between the toes.

The length and width seem to fit perfectly, but the straps rub between my toes and the inside of the heel area. I've tried tightening and loosening without success. These sandals are pretty dang comfortable. I’m a little let down with the supposed “hands free” method of putting them on as advertised with the Numas. It’s just cumbersome and takes way longer to get them on that way as the video showed (maybe it’s just me?). I end up giving up and just use my hand as it’s way quicker. My only other complaint would be the price point of these. They just seem super expensive for what you actually get. Bedrocks for instance offer a much higher end/more premium product for the money. If these were priced at half of what they are, I would feel way better about recommending them

I have many pairs of sandals, but my new Numa Chargers are definitely my new favorite sandals for daily wear. I like how they look and especially enjoy their comfort and how easy they are to slip on and off. I also want to mention the excellent customer service by Emily when I had some special requests for the shipping to Norway. These are my first, but definitely not my last pair of Shamma sandals.

I’ve been missing my flip flops since I started wearing barefoot shoes, and these are the next best thing!! Easy to slip on and off and I love the comfort of the elastic straps.
