Sole
The Pacific Avenue: Tan feature an 9mm Vibram Newflex sole. These soles provide excellent ground feel while still providing protection from punctures and abrasions. The Tan models feature an aniline Tan leather footbed to match the aniline leather straps. Whether you are a barefoot shoe veteran or just starting out with minimalist footwear, the Pacific Avenues are perfect for you!
Recraftable
Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced. Why throw away what you can repair? Reach out to our customer service team to learn more!

I’ve been wearing barefoot shoes since 2018 and have yet to find a barefoot style “flip flop” sandals until Shamma just recently introduced these Pacific Avenue sandals. I have been wearing them all summer and they are extremely comfortable. They look like a normal flip flop from the front with nice tan leather. And the back strap is covered by pants adding to a “normal” look. I personally don’t mind when anyone does notice the back strap though anyway as walking in these naturally without having to curl my toes feel so nice. And the thickness is on par with being minimalistic without standing out as too thin and odd looking. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a barefoot style sandal that looks better than the competition!
These sandals fit right out of the box. They stay in place, and are very comfortable all day long. Best of all the are made in the USA by a small business. Great job!
I've been looking for an alternative to Earth Runner sandals since their lacing always hurts my toes/feet and leads to blistering. I've been wearing my shamma sandals non-stop and have none. These are literally the most comfortable pair of minimalist shoes/sandals I've ever owned. Looking forward to supporting this brand and becoming a life-long customer. Great work guys! My first barefoot sandal and I’m very happy.
A great first barefoot sandal, with the look of a leather flip flop no worries on getting any weird looks. Regardless the super soft premium leather is worth it and feels great! Wearing them every chance I get and even used them for a 3 mile run, while waiting for my other Shammas
