Power Straps

Power Straps are additional, optional straps for your sandals, and they give extra support and security when needed! Power Straps are not required for the use of our sandals, however they are helpful when you are doing more intense activities (such as long runs, intense hikes, or water use). They also provide a nice feeling of security, especially if you aren't used to barefoot shoes. Power Straps are easy to put on and take off of your sandals, so that you can get extra security and support when needed, and go full minimal when not!

Free Shipping with an order of sandals.

Power Straps are compatible with our Elite, TrailStar, and Numa Lacing Systems. For Power Straps that are compatible with our Cruzer and Classic Lacing Systems, please see Classic Power Straps and for Power Straps compatible with our Super Lacing System, please see Super Power Straps.

Power Up!

Recently purchased a pair of Shammas and decided to go ahead and get the Power Straps, because, why not?! My primary reason in purchasing the Elite Alphas was for running and wanted something that was capable of tackling just about whatever I threw at it. Roads? Check. Trails? Check. Trips to the grocery store? Check. Seeing as I haven't worn these without the Power Straps, I can't really speak to the with/without performance comparison. All I know is that the sandals feel secure in any environment without feeling or looking clunky. I have had these for a few weeks and while I've only put about 12-15 running miles on them, I have been wearing them any time I'm out and about and don't need closed toed shoes. I'd definitely recommend the Power Straps as a easy add-on for anyone looking to add a layer of security/stability for whatever adventure they're embarking on.

Great addition to my elite maximus sandals.

I don't use them all the time, but they are great when you need to keep your foot more secure such as hiking or stream crossings. An easy 5 stars!

Get the power!

These straps really help the sandals feels secure on my feet, especially in wet or muddy conditions. A must.

Variety

I now own 3 pairs of Shamma’s. Goats, Chargers and the latest pair, the Warriors. Each one a bit different but each pair commonly comfortable and truly fun to wear. I recently purchased some power straps and they really change the game adding comfort and stability to each pair of sandals. Recently left rainy Portland to visit the sun and sand in Santa Cruz and brought my Shammas and wore them the entire time! As always customer support and service is outstanding !! Thanks Shamma
