Sole
Warriors use a 5mm Vibram® Newflex sole coupled with your choice of our UltraGrip or Tobacco Brown Goatskin Leather footbed for a 6mm total stack height. Vibram® Newflex is a blend of rubber and EVA that forms a durable soling material with an aggressive tread for superior traction on the trail. The tread accounts for approximately 2.5 millimeters of the sole thickness making it very flexible. The aggressive tread allows for excellent traction and enjoyment of the sandals at any speed. Pair with the UltraGrip footbed for use in the harshest elements, or select the Goatskin Leather for more comfort in drier conditions.
Elite Lacing System
The Elite Lacing System is the product of 10 years of relentless testing and development. This lacing system is designed with control, comfort, and performance in mind. Three independent adjustment zones - the heel strap, insole strap, and toe straps - give you total control over how the straps are adjusted to your feet. Velcro® fasteners make adjustment easy and secure. The Shamma Elite Buckle gives you the ability to fine tune your toe strap, where adjustment matters most. Our innovative and flexible heel posts keep the straps in an optimal position so you can focus on the road ahead. The Elite Lacing uses Toray® UltraSuede to create the highest levels of comfort available. If you want the highest performance laces, you want the Elite Lacing System!
Recraftable

Feetback - 10/10
I was skeptical about sizing. I usually wear an 11.5 and based on the Shamma sizing guide I ordered a 9.5. They fit perfectly and video on how to measure your foot for the sizing worked very well. My Elite Warriors are the perfect combination of durability and minimalist and will now be part of my essential trip packing for guiding in the Peruvian Andes. Hoping to try out the power straps at some point.

These are the right length, but way too wide for my foot, it looks ridiculous. Very strong chemical smell for a week after opening the bag. I haven't worn them and I forgot to return them. Really nice otherwise. I think I would enjoy them if they didn't look like clown sandals.

I am impressed with the sole. Thin and only one piece, no danger of ungluing. I would give a 5 star to the sole. But i have problems with the straps. First i am not fun of velcro for use outdoors because it tends to be filled with vegetation. Second the system rubs on my ankle quite badly. So i had to substitute de straps for those of my old lunas and now it works like a charm. I wish you sold your straps separately. I like how thin they are. It is a minimalist shoe, do not complicate it. All you need is a durable sole and a durable strap.

Lightest sandals I could find for backpacking. The fit was good and they are more secure than I expected. They appear fairly robust for their weight. Time will tell.

Those are my 5th pair of Warriors since 2017 The 4th one are not yet teared down, but this was time to have a spare one to make the transition Incredibly resilient and confortable, they follow me in my daily life and long trail & road running sessions for so many years now The only better option for running is bare foot, but gravels still bother me, so i stick with those perfect sandals option
