Little Warriors LE

Well, our order got forgotten and sat unshipped. It took a few tries to get some help on it but the shipment was delayed and missed our big trip. So that sucked. When we returned we got to try out these sandals. I have been wearing the adult version for the past year and ordered a replacement, those are fine. I also ordered these Little Warriors for my 5 year old son. He is a size 10/11 in other “barefoot” brands. We ordered a size one based on the print outs and they are indeed the right size for him. However, the kids sandals have a large piece of rubber sewn into the side straps that are not on the adult version. This piece of rubber is very stiff and caused abrasion on his ankle bone immediately. He ended up with a small open wound and is unable to wear the sandals. I have tried several adjustments to make them work. We are so bummed! I am still waiting to hear back from Shamma about why that rubber is there (makes no sense that I can see and I design products for a living). I also asked for a return with no response yet. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the kids sandal based on the rubber piece and the damage it does to tiny ankle bones and the communication has not been good with this order. The staff was friendly when we did talk, but it is difficult to get a hold of them. I do hope they can reach out and fix the issues here, I love to support small businesses like this!
