Super Goats

Super Goats take comfort, performance, and style to the next level with premium all-leather construction. Combining zero-drop and wide toe boxes with high quality German aniline leather, Super Goats give minimalist footwear a sleek look. A great choice for those new to minimalist footwear, the thicker sole and tread provides extra protection and comfort. A premium sandal, the Super Goat highlights a new level of quality for minimalist sandals.

Sole

Super Goat soles are composed of 5mm Vibram Newflex and 6mm Vibram Morflex. This slightly thick sole provides cushioning and protection while still being light and responsive, making it perfect for hard surfaces like concrete. An aggressive tread pattern helps to provide traction when needed. The German aniline leather footbed adds to the comfort of the soles, making them soft to the touch and moldable to your foot shape. With a matching brown sole and footbed, the Super Goat soles pair perfectly with the Super Lacing System.

Super Lacing System

The Super Lacing system is an all-leather version of our venerable 4th Generation Shamma Lacing System. This system is packed with features that give you everything you need to get the right fit. Our original Shamma buckle allows for fine-tuning of the toe strap and insole strap. The leather insole keeps the heel strap in an optimal position. Velcro® on the insole and heel straps allow for quick and secure adjustments. The Super Lacing System gives you comfort, durability and style that only leather can provide.

Recraftable

Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced with a pair of pliers at home. Why throw away what you can repair? Visit our parts page to learn more!

Made in the USA!

Proud to be made in the USA and we wouldn’t have it any other way! All of our sandals are made right here in Santa Cruz, CA by our small team, using primarily US sourced materials along with high quality components from Italy, Germany, and other international partners. Follow us on Instagram and YouTube to get a glimpse of how we do it on a regular basis.

Hand Selected Materials

Our individually selected rubber and leather is tough and durable. Perfect for running, these materials bring comfort and refinement to our sandals. No-slip Insole / Outsole post design keeps the heel strap up and in position at all times.

These are great for anyone looking for barefoot sandals and the fact that they are adjustable makes it more enjoyable.

Comfortable

Good , at 63 I’m into the barefoot culture. Your sandals are very comfortable. I don’t think I could walk a whole day in them but maybe one day. They are the best sandals on the market for sure. Could you design one called the Camino . Extent the side pieces to meet at the back and maybe use a draw string to adjust ie tighten or loosen. Then make the insole real plush . ie the sole of the super browns with a 10 mm of evo sole as the inner sole. Then it would be more gentle on the feet and allow me to walk a Camino de compostella.

Amazing Sandals

I absolutely love my Shamma Super Goats. They are comfortable for all day, easy to slip on, super well-made, and will last a long time. I am a teacher and wear them all day every day. I got the goats instead of the super browns for the traction and it was definitely the right choice. The vibram soles have fantastic grip. My only complaint is that the leather portion of the power strap isn’t long enough to go all the way across my ankle and leaves a strip of Velcro exposed. I bought the recommended size that came with the sandals so that looks a little weird. I would size up on the power strap.

Pretty darn good

My only issue is with the heel strap falling down. I've got it adjusted pretty tight, but still

Finally, a wide shoe

Literally the first shoe/sandal to not expect my pinky toe to curve inward and point towards my other toes. when I spread my toes, none of them hang off of the footbed.
Also, plenty flexible in the soles. I dig the leather. No slapping. Good for walking and running. Plenty grippy. Not stinky after a couple weeks of wearing them everyday. Yeah. I'd recommend these. Looking to get a thinner pair of the Elite Maximus or Warriors soon, too, for when I want more ground feel (I like painful amounts of ground feel), or for when it's wet outside.
P.S. The power strap makes 'em look cool.

4 1/2 stars. Half a star off because I like them a little thinner than this particular model. Then again, that's really just an excuse for me to get a second pair =)

Love the goat

Super goats are just thicker sole version of the super browns with tread. The power strap is a must have . I reckon using the design of the “ y” piece on the sides and extending it further around to the heel you could make a “ Camino “ version for walking long distance. . The sole could be the same but have a softer compound between the leather top and the rubber bottom. A sandwich if u like. These adjustments would give you a very long distance sandal ( not that it isn’t already) and answer the question for thousands of Camino de compostella pilgrims. I love my super browns and super goats. Regards from Australia.

Fantastic sandals! Love them

Needed a little thicker sole and the supergoats seemed perfect. I already have the super browns and wore them all the time, but the coarse gravel required a thicker sole.

Very nice sandals!

I was very excited to receive my sandals so quickly. I worked on getting them adjusted for my feet right away. I have very sensitive feet. My second day, I wore them to Longwood Gardens with my family. We walked a lot! My feet were so happy! That leather is very smooth. I do recommend them.

5 Sandals and counting

The Super Goats were my fifth Shamma purchase. They are buy far the most stylish and comfortable. The leather is a nice touch and they provide a firm yet comfortable fit. I prefer the Warriors and Chargers for running and will wear the Goats for every day use. Shamma is a great company, keep up the good work!
