Numa Warriors
Numa Warriors get you the closest you can to feeling barefoot in a sandal. A lightweight sandal that moves effortlessly with your foot, the Numa Warriors create the ultimate barefoot experience. You’ll be at home on your favorite local trail or the most epic national park. Numa Warriors are barefoot bliss.
Sole
Warriors use a 5mm Vibram® Newflex sole coupled with your choice of our UltraGrip or Tobacco Brown Goatskin Leather footbed for a 6mm total stack height. Vibram® Newflex is a blend of rubber and EVA that forms a durable soling material with an aggressive tread for superior traction on the trail. The tread accounts for approximately 2.5 millimeters of the sole thickness making it very flexible. The aggressive tread allows for excellent traction and enjoyment of the sandals at any speed. Pair with the UltraGrip footbed for use in the harshest elements, or select the Goatskin Leather for more comfort in drier conditions.
Numa Lacing System
Numa uses a handsfree slip-on lacing system that stretches with your feet as they move. The result is our most comfortable, seamless, and easy-to-use lacing system yet. The secret is our custom ¾” elastic forefoot section. This innovation gives the lacing system the ability to stretch where you need it most: over the arch and middle of the foot, creating a seamless connection between your foot and the sandal. Added benefits of this system include a self-adjusting toe plug buckle and forefoot strap that is custom-cut. This allows all our Numa Sandals to rival flip-flops in terms of comfort without sacrificing convenience. This system uses our innovative and flexible heel posts to keep the heel strap in an optimal position, and these laces are made using Ultrasuede for the highest level of comfort available. Comfort, connection, and convenience are waiting for you with the Numa lacing system!
Recraftable
Just because you wore a hole in your sandals, it doesn’t mean you have to throw them away! Our modular approach to sandal-making means that worn out parts can be replaced with a pair of pliers at home. Why throw away what you can repair? Visit our Parts Page to learn more!

I’ve got over 50 miles now in the Numas and they are amazing! I used to run in another brand of sandal, but having run in VFFs for the past few years, I crave that closer to ground feeling and I get that with the Numa Warriors. Excellent ground feel, so I know when my form is off. The leather side posts are very comfortable and the stretch fabric of the front lacing system is very very comfortable. Once I dialed everything in, no issues with the toe post, which is what I experienced with the another sandal brand. I only use these for urban running and running on paved or semi-paved surfaces. I’m excited to see how many miles I’ll be able to get out of these sandals, but when the soles do wear out, I’ll be getting another pair!

I love the Numa warriors. Unfortunately I got the wrong size for my first go round. I thought it was just a breaking in kind of thing. After a few months I decided to order a second pair the next size up and they are magical. I don’t want to wear any other shoe ever!
