I've been running trails in huaraches for many years now, and I like the Shamma lineup. I've settled on the Old Goats as my favorite for dry weather trail running. I like the Classic lacing system, because it's super simple; just one strap and a buckle, no velcro or other stuff. The sandals are durable and are good for about 500 miles for me before the tread is worn through. The rest of the sandal is still wearable for quite a while after that, but just not with the grippy sole.

The leather bands stretch to about twice their original length over time it feels like. The buckle is useless for actually keeping the bands where you adjust them to. The loosen up until it's a pair of flip-flops after just a few minutes of walking.

These all black leather minimalist sandals are the perfect blend of style and simplicity. I have a very wide sole and these sandals accommodate them perfectly and better than other brands. Takes a lil to adjust to your feet, but once you do, they are just awesome!
