Numa Maximus
We are bringing back a beloved limited edition sandal, the Numa Red Rock! This time, with leather accents! Taking inspiration from the Red Rocks Park, the Numa Red Rocks feature a unique red and black colorway! With a slightly thicker sole and ultra-comfortable Numa laces, these sandals excel for daily wear. Whether you are heading to the store or a local concert, the Numa Red Rocks will stand out from the crowd.
Sole
The Maximus sole uses an 8mm zig-zag tread sole coupled with your choice of UltraGrip or Tobacco Brown Goatskin Leather footbed for a 9mm total stack height. At 3mm thicker than the Warrior sole, you will get a much more rugged sandal that is capable of diffusing the feeling of rocks, sticks, and the like from underfoot. The Maximus sole is suitable for a host of situations from the trail to the gym. The Limited Edition Red Rock features a special cognac leather footbed that matches the leather accents.
Numa Lacing System
Numa uses a handsfree slip-on lacing system that stretches with your feet as they move. The result is our most comfortable, seamless, and easy-to-use lacing system yet. The secret is our custom ¾” elastic forefoot section. This innovation gives the lacing system the ability to stretch where you need it most: over the arch and middle of the foot, creating a seamless connection between your foot and the sandal. Added benefits of this system include a self-adjusting toe plug buckle and forefoot strap that is custom-cut. This allows all our Numa Sandals to rival flip-flops in terms of comfort without sacrificing convenience. This system uses our innovative and flexible heel posts to keep the heel strap in an optimal position, and these laces are made using Ultrasuede for the highest level of comfort available. What is the difference between the Elite and Numa lacing systems?
Numas have one adjustable elastic front strap that bends and flexes with your foot as it moves. It feels light, can be slipped on hands-free, and can moonlight for athletic activity on moderate terrain, especially with power straps.The Elite lacing system has fixed non-stretch laces with three points of adjustment that can be fine tuned for precision, security, stability, perfect for high intensity movement on varied terrain, long runs, and hiking.
